Ingredients

  • 4 lobster tails
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • black pepper to taste

Lemon Cream Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup vegetable broth
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  • Prep the lobster tails by using a scissors to cut lengthwise down the top of the shell. Cut towards the tail, stopping before the end to keep the tail connected. Use fingers to push inside the shell and loosen the meat, then gently spread the cut tail and push the meat up through the split, arranging the meat on the top of the shell. Repeat with all 4 lobster tails, and place them on a baking tray.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, salt, pepper, and paprika. Use a pastry brush to brush the meat of each lobster tail.
  • Preheat the Sharp SuperSteam+ Built-In Wall Oven to Steam/Grill.
  • Grill the lobster tails for 5-10 minutes. Smaller lobster tails that are 4-6 ounces will take 5 minutes, while 10 ounce lobster tails will take 10 minutes to fully cook.
  • Serve the lobster tails with Lemon Cream Sauce.

Lemon Cream Sauce

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, add the olive oil and garlic. Saute for about 7 minutes until fully softened, but not browned.
  • Add the vegetable broth, lemon juice, and heavy whipping cream. Whisk until the mixture comes to a low simmer, then remove from heat.

Notes

*Lobster tails vary in size. Try to purchase tails that are all a similar size so they broil in the same amount of time. A rule of thumb is to broil the tails for 1 minute per ounce. 5-ounce tails will take 5 minutes, and 10-ounce tails will take 10 minutes.
