Variations for this Recipe

Balsamic Brussels Sprouts: Add 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar to your sprouts when tossing them with oil, lemon juice, and maple syrup.
Lemon Parmesan Brussels Sprouts: Add an additional tablespoon of lemon juice to the sprouts, and then toss them with 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese while they are still hot out of the fryer.
Pomegranate Pecan Brussels Sprouts: This recipe is lightly adapted from my Roasted Brussels Sprouts recipe, where I toast pecans with the sprouts and then add pomegranate arils to serve. Prepare the sprouts as directed in this recipe, but add 1/3 cup pecans for the last 3 minutes of cooking time. Serve garnished with 1/2 cup of pomegranate arils.
Cheesy Brussels Sprouts: Add feta, bleu cheese, or shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese to your sprouts for the last 3 minutes of cooking time. This will melt the cheese onto the sprouts. I use about 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese for this amount of Brussels sprouts.
Frozen Brussels Sprouts in the Air Fryer: If using frozen Brussels sprouts, cook a small amount at a time so they don't steam as they are cooking. Make sure air can circulate around them. Add 2-4 minutes additional cooking time, and remember they won't get a crispy as fresh Brussels sprouts.

Storage Tips

Store Leftovers: Add Brussels sprouts to an air tight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
Reheat Leftovers: Return Brussels sprouts to a preheated 390º F air fryer for about 5 minutes.
