Heat the sauce over medium heat, and bring to a low simmer. Reduce by about half, which will take about 10 minutes.
Replace the vinegar based South Carolina style BBQ sauce with your favorite jarred sauce to save time.
If you're wanting to grill ribs outdoors, use the Sharp SuperSteam+ Built-In Wall oven to first steam the ribs, and then finish them on an outdoor grill instead of browning them in the oven.
Cooking Ribs without a Steam Oven:
1). Add the ribs to a large pot of boiling water, and simmer them for 30 minutes. Take the ribs out and pat them dry. Season them generously with salt and pepper.
2). Make the BBQ sauce as described above. Brush ribs generously with the sauce.
3). Preheat oven to broil, or your outdoor grill on to high, and broil or grill your ribs for about 10 minutes.
4). Brush cooked ribs with more BBQ sauce, if desired.
